Hot Honey Prosciutto Pinsa

This easy prosciutto pinsa starts with a ready-made pinsa base and transforms it into a crisp, creamy, sweet-and-savory meal in under 20 minutes. A combination of crème fraîche, cream cheese and melted cheese creates a rich base, while toasted pine nuts, hot honey, fresh basil and delicate prosciutto add the perfect finishing touch.

Ingredients

Makes 1 Pinsa

For the Pinsa

  • 1 ready-made pinsa
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp plain cream cheese
  • 150 g finely grated aged cheese

Toppings

  • 30 g pine nuts
  • 6–8 thin slices prosciutto
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2–3 tbsp hot honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the ready-made pinsa package.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the crème fraîche and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly over the pinsa.
  4. Sprinkle the grated aged cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Scatter the pine nuts over the cheese.
  6. Bake until the crust is crisp, the cheese is melted and the pine nuts are lightly golden.
  7. Remove the pinsa from the oven and drizzle generously with hot honey.
  8. Arrange the prosciutto over the pinsa.
  9. Finish with fresh basil leaves.
  10. Slice and serve immediately.
