Whipped Feta Watermelon Bites

These refreshing watermelon bites are topped with creamy whipped feta for the perfect balance of sweet, salty and tangy flavors. A quick and elegant finger food that’s ideal for summer gatherings, BBQs or as a light appetizer.

Ingredients

Serves 20 bites

Whipped Feta

  • 200 g (7 oz) feta cheese
  • 100 ml (⅓ cup + 1 tbsp) crème fraîche

Assembly

  • 20 watermelon cubes

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Crumble the feta into a food processor.
  2. Add the crème fraîche and blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Transfer the whipped feta to a piping bag fitted with a star tip (or simply snip the end of the bag).
  4. Cut the watermelon into evenly sized cubes and pat them dry with paper towels.
  5. Pipe a generous swirl of whipped feta onto each watermelon cube.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint, black pepper or a drizzle of balsamic glaze if desired.
  7. Serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve.
