Easy Guacamole

Creamy, fresh and full of flavor, this easy guacamole comes together in just a few minutes. Made with ripe avocados, red onion, garlic, lime juice and a touch of taco sauce, it’s perfect as a dip for tortilla chips, a topping for tacos or as part of a snack board.

Ingredients

Serves 4-6

Guacamole

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • Juice from 1 lime wedge
  • ½ small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp taco sauce
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • Chili flakes, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork until you reach your preferred texture.
  3. Add the lime juice, red onion, garlic, taco sauce and sour cream.
  4. Mix until everything is well combined.
  5. Taste and adjust with additional lime juice if desired.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with chili flakes before serving.

  • For the best flavor, use ripe avocados that yield slightly when gently pressed.
  • Leave the guacamole a little chunky for extra texture.
  • Cover tightly with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface to help prevent browning.
